SoCon Football Media Day 2021: Projected order of finish and all-conference teams

The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly wrecked havoc in all forms of entertainment and sport over the past year, with perhaps arguably no form affected more than FCS football. On Thursday, the Southern Conference held its annual football media day via a zoom virtual call, and though many uncertainties remain heading into the 2020-21 season, coaches and student-athletes are just ready for some sense of normalcy to return, and normalcy means having a football season even if it is in the spring and in a limited capacity.  The coaches and players are ready to go, and a eight-game conference schedule was unveiled in the fall. Four teams went ahead and played at least one game in the fall, while the other four opted to wait until the spring. That seven-game slate will get underway on Feb. 20.
